Ammon

Ammon loves writing, and we can’t wait to see where his writing takes him! He graduated from UVU with a degree in English. During his time at UVU, he was published twice in the speculative fiction journal Warp and Weave, and he presented a paper at the UVU Conference on Writing for Social Change. He also has a published article on GameTyrant.com. His hobbies include playing video games, reading, and playing board games. He lives in Provo with his cute wife and daughter, and his long term goals include becoming a published author and traveling to WWI sites in Europe.

Carter

Carter played NCAA D3 college soccer for Southern Virginia University for a year before deciding that he actually wanted to be a BYU cougar. He is now studying public relations and Spanish at BYU. He was a top scorer when he played for SVU as a freshman, and now he enjoys staying active by skiing, running, and playing soccer. He has also run two marathons. He served an LDS mission in Tijuana, Mexico. He was a top 5 finalist in the Weber Outdoor Entrepreneurship competition, and he enjoys serving others through BYUSA.

Lois

Lois was born in Mexico, but was raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She is studying international relations at BYU. This past winter, she interned with Representative Sagers at the Utah State Legislature, and she absolutely loved it. She currently serves as a board member for the Mountainlands Community Health Center, a health clinic for low income individuals, and she also works as a teaching assistant for a political science class at BYU. Some of her favorite activities include going on roadtrips with friends, doing crossfit, and eating Thai food.

Natalie

Natalie is a Research Fellow at the Global Politics Lab at BYU studying populism and Brexit, and she is the sweetest person you will ever meet. She was just accepted into BYU Law School for Fall 2020, and we are so happy for her! She has been on the Dean’s List, and she was a Law and Corpus Linguistics intern at BYU Law School. She just got married in April, and if you’re ever in Provo, you might catch her driving her moped scooter around.

Sam

Sam claims the wonderful city of Littleton, Colorado as home, but he has also traveled to 36 countries! He has had the opportunity to travel to South America, Asia, and Africa on humanitarian service trips. He got a perfect score on the ACT, which is amazing! He is attending BYU on the Thomas S. Monson scholarship, where he is studying neuroscience and computer science. Over the summer, he got married to his wife Emily, so he loves hiking, playing tennis, and eating ice cream with her. He is also planning on going to law school after graduation.

Scarlett

Scarlett’s secret talent is mastering foreign accents, which gives you an idea of how cool she is. She is a published author, and she has worked as an editor for the past few years to help others get published as well! She is from Jacksonville, Oregon, and she enjoys making short films and going on adventures in her spare time. This is her last year at UVU, and she plans on attending law school after graduation. We are excited for her, and we’re sure she will be a fantastic lawyer.
