If I have access to Crushendo materials, can I share any access or digital or printed copies with anyone?

Generally, you only have a limited license for personal use.

Though sharing online links to Crushendo’s public blog posts, public videos, and other public resources is permitted and encouraged, if we believe you have abused Crushendo’s intellectual property rights, we may immediately revoke your access, terminate your Crushendo.com account, and pursue damages. For example, if you share your username, password, downloads, or download links, you will have abused Crushendo’s intellectual property rights.

You can email piracy@crushendo.com to report piracy and be rewarded.

Which jurisdictions administer the UBE (opposed to jurisdiction-specific bar exams)?

Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming, and the Virgin Islands.

  • Several jurisdictions (listed below) test all parts of the UBE—the MBE, MEE, and MPT—on their bar exam, but are not considered UBE jurisdictions because part of their bar exam is jurisdiction specific. If you plan on taking the bar exam in one of these jurisdictions, we recommend you get one of our UBE packages. You then will only need to get some material to help you prepare for the jurisdiction-specific part of your bar exam (since we don’t offer jurisdiction-specific material at this time).
  • If your jurisdiction isn’t on either list, odds are that you’ll still be interested in our MBE Suite. Every U.S. jurisdiction except Louisiana and Puerto Rico administers the MBE as part of its bar exam.
    • If you’re planning on practicing in Louisiana or Puerto Rico, you may still be interested in purchasing individual audio and written outlines for the subjects that you struggle with to supplement a course more catered to your jurisdiction’s exam.

Which jurisdictions use the MBE?

Every U.S. jurisdiction except Louisiana and Puerto Rico administers the MBE as part of its bar exam.

  • If you’re planning on practicing in Louisiana or Puerto Rico, you may still be interested in purchasing individual audio and written outlines for the subjects that you struggle with to supplement a course more catered to your jurisdiction’s exam.

What are memory palaces?

Memory palaces leverage powerful spatial memory by visualizing places and things that cement key concepts. Like the Socratic method, the method of loci is as old as ancient Greece. I’m not taking the bar for a while. If I buy now, will I still be able to access the material when I need it?

Yes. When you buy a Crushendo product, you receive a lifetime license to that product’s content and future updates for personal, non-commercial use. The earlier you buy, the earlier you benefit. And the benefits never expire.

  • Example. A year after crushing the bar with Crushendo, you take a case where you need a quick refresher on family law. You’ll still be able to listen to your Crushendo audio outlines and even access the most up-to-date versions.

That said there are four exceptions to the lifetime access rule:

  • Prolonged account inactivity. If you have not logged into your Crushendo.com account for more than two years, we may delete your account.  If your account is deleted due to inactivity, you can create a new account at any time and receive restored access to product(s) previously available on your account upon written request to support@crushendo.com. However, all course progress, including practice question submissions and scores, will not be restored.
  • Refunds or cancellations. If you cancel an order or have it refunded, your access to materials associated with that cancelled or refunded order will be revoked.
  • NCBE content removals. The NCBE occasionally removes certain practice questions from their offerings that the NCBE deems to be outdated or for other reasons. If the NCBE removes any practice questions from their Crushendo offerings for any reason, Crushendo will remove such questions from its materials. However, Crushendo will send you a PDF of such questions prior to their removal from your online account.
  • Abuse or breach. Though sharing online links to Crushendo’s public blog posts, public or unlisted YouTube videos, and other public resources is permitted and encouraged, if we believe you have abused Crushendo’s intellectual property rights or otherwise breached these Terms, we may immediately revoke your access, terminate your Crushendo.com account, and pursue damages. For example, if you share your username, password, downloads, or download links, you will have breached these Terms and abused Crushendo’s intellectual property rights.

What’s the difference between “suites” and “outlines” packages?

Does Crushendo offer state-specific material?

We do not currently offer any state-specific material.

Where are my outlines?

Your outlines (written and audio) can be found on your Crushboard in your Crushendo account. And your downloads will be emailed to you within 24 hours of your purchase.

Can I get more downloads (after I run out)?

Yes! Just email support@crushendo.com and we will help you out!

How do I get a refund?

You can get a refund within 30 days of your purchase if Crushendo ends up not being a good fit for you. If you want a refund, please email support@crushendo.com and let us know, and we will help you.

Yes! You will have access to all related future updates.

Can I buy the written or audio outlines separately?

Our written and audio outlines go together like two peas in a pod. They support and augment each other, and we strongly suggest you study with both of them. But if buying both is a deal breaker for you, please email support@crushendo.com and we can probably work something out.

Do you have videos with your outlines?

We currently have several videos that accompany our outlines and we may make more in the future:

  • Orientation videos.
  • Tips & Tricks videos for each part of the UBE, as well as the MPRE.
  • A couple bonus videos with our Civil Procedure Outlines.

Why can’t I log in? Why have I been locked out of my account?

If you can’t access your account you either are in a blocked country (or your device is indicating that you are), or you accidentally misspelled your username or password too many times, and have been locked out for about five minutes.

Is there a suggested bar prep study plan?

Yes! And our study schedules are easy to print, so you can cross off tasks as you progress.

Does Crushendo offer essay grading or personalized feedback on essays and performance tests?

We include the official point sheets for each MEE and MPT question, so you can analyze and evaluate your writing as you go.

For grading and more personalized feedback, we offer tutoring at competitive rates.

Does Crushendo offer tutoring?

Are your outlines detailed enough for me to be able to pass the Uniform Bar Exam?
